As this week begins, we are coming off the powerful Scorpio Full Moon and sliding right into Gemini season. The Sun and Mercury both move into Gemini on the 21st. Gemini is ruled by Mercury, so the Sun being in Gemini, ruled by Mercury, and conjoining Mercury is an astrological Double Whammy telling us that this is a very mental time – full of curiosity and anticipation and lots of ideas floating around, looking for a place to land. The Gemini influence can be a great aid in moving through things quickly.
Mars (assertive energy) is in Cancer, super sensitive and perhaps a bit touchy, approaching a challenging square to Chiron which will poke us in uncomfortable places and stimulate urges to react and perhaps lash out if we feel threatened. This discomfort is annoying to be sure, but also provides us with an opportunity to discover where we still have reactive wounds that perhaps are ready to emerge for healing. Under this influence it will be helpful to try to avoid blame and focus instead on looking inwards at the emotion itself. Emotions and feelings are energies – they can be dispelled on an energetic level through breath and opening the heart. This challenging dynamic will peak on the 23rd and then will begin to dissipate, but it is made easier by a harmonious aspect between Mars and Uranus (sextile aspect).
The energy of Mars harmonizes nicely with the tendency of Uranus to bring in radical change and new ideas. Under Mars and Uranus it becomes easier to let go of old thought patterns to which we are overly attached, and to embrace new ways of seeing our world and our experiences. This is a good time to think about activating new energies in your life and could bring some excitement into the picture!

Thanks Lynn. I always dread gnarly aspects to Chiron (because I am a wimp!) In my natal chart Chiron conjunct Saturn, opposition ascendant, and sq midheaven. Not sure what all that means except in general but it ain’t fun! No choice but to carry on and suck it up.
Hi Gina, with Chiron conjunct Saturn healing is your destiny! So you can’t really avoid it. With those two angular they become even stronger. I don’t know how old you are but this kind of aspect DOES get easier with time as we work through the things that hold us back.
Thank you SO MUCH Lynn! After reading your interpretation, I want to cry with relief!! I so need to hear and remember this because with depression (Saturn at Pisces last degree) it is easy to get awash in depression and despair at times. Yes, I have had many years of therapy, prayer and trying to also understand myself and the world by learning about astrology has helped me so much. Your work has helped me so much (and others I am sure). Sometime I want to get a reading from you. My poor dog is 14 with diabetes so this has been expensive. But an astrology reading would also help my sanity. I need to give this to myself as as birthday gift this year. I will be 53 in August. Anyway, THANK YOU!!
I’m so happy to hear that this has helped you Gina.❤️
Greetings Lynn,
How can a chart show the possibility to have children with autistic features…or oneself
Hi Liliana, there are certain signatures that lend themselves to a higher likelihood of autistic tendencies in an individual, but they don’t universally point to autism, and there is no way to predict from someone’s chart whether or not they will have children on the spectrum.
Hi Lynn- Thank you for all you do; you write so clearly I gain good understanding from your work. – and thanking God for Astrology!
