Last week we saw the peak of the challenging square from Mars (aggression) to Chiron (wounding and healing). Perhaps you noticed, with Mars in the emotional sign of Cancer, that people around you were more reactive, either passive aggressive or outwardly aggressive, with feelings more easily hurt?
That influence is behind us, and this week he planetary influences over the next week are sweet and benign. It’s a good week to rest and recharge, especially if (like me!) you are experiencing an intense planetary shift in your own chart.
The only real difficulty, and it is a mild one, occurs between the 28th and the 31st when Mercury (the mind) faces off in a square to Neptune (dreamy confusion) and opposite Jupiter (confidence). This is an excellent time for creativity and spirituality – meditation, yoga, creating music or art. It’s not such a good time for difficult conversations as much can be misunderstood under this influence. The potential for arguments is high since Jupiter bestows the idea that WE are correct and others are not. It’s not a good time for making business decisions as we may be overconfident and tend to miss small details – but it IS a good time to listen for your small voice within and your intuitive guidance. After the 30th, Mercury will be out of range of both Jupiter and Neptune and the clouds will clear.
Venus (love and beauty) harmonizes with Saturn and Neptune between May 30th and June 2nd, a beautiful end to the month. This enhances our relationships and all of our interactions with others, and also inspires us to seek a more peaceful approach to the matters at hand. An awkward Venus/Jupiter aspect (quincunx) on June 1st may create some tension and a desire for greater freedom, so that would not be a great day to schedule something with someone with whom you are less than completely comfortable.
When we are being bombarded with the intensity of the outer planets, we often fail to appreciate the subtleties of these faster moving planetary cycles, just as the events of our lives make it difficult to appreciate the bloom of a flower or the flight of a bird. This week we have the opportunity to sharpen our inner senses and awareness!
Thank you Lynn; love the picture of the soft rose (my favorite flower!). It is a relief to hear we have a time of some relief. I don’t think my husband sees the synchronicity of astrology like I do, but when I read that a difficult day or transit is coming up I try to give him a heads ups. Last week, I told him that some particular time was supposed to be challenging and his response was, “When isn’t?” I had to laugh. ?
You’re right Gina! We certainly are living in some interesting times.
I like your decision to give slightly less information than one or 2 other places I go for guidance- more honed….unless I am just coming out of that fog…Jeepers —LIFE!!!
Thank you Lynn. I somehow missed the forecast for this past week, but I sure felt it. I have to look at Chiron in my chart, it seems I feel it’s effects strongly. Have you written an article about Chiron, or can you recommend a good reference? Thanks again. Robin
Hi Robin, I’ve written a LOT about Chiron. Here is a basic article for you to start with: https://www.astrodynamics.net/chiron-the-wounded-healer/
Thank you Lynn. I had a reading with you last September and you have been spot on!! I did struggle the first four months of this year but have evolved and am in such a better place, financially, partnerships, etc. Did a lot of soul growth and transformation…
I can feel it deep in my heart and soul. Blessings to you!
I’m so glad to hear this Kim! And I’m glad I could play a small part. ❤️
