People usually consider walking on water or in thin air a miracle. But I think the real miracle is not to walk either on water or in thin air, but to walk on earth. Every day we are engaged in a miracle which we don’t even recognize: a blue sky, white clouds, green leaves, the black, curious eyes of a child — our own two eyes. All is a miracle.

Because you are alive, everything is possible.

Waking up this morning, I smile. Twenty-four brand new hours are before me. I vow to live fully in each moment and to look at all beings with eyes of compassion.”

Life is a miracle, and being aware of simply this can already make us very happy.

Birth is okay and death is okay, if we know that they are only concepts in our mind. Reality transcends both birth and death.

Everyday we are engaged in a miracle which we don’t even recognize: a blue sky, white clouds, green leaves, the black, curious eyes of a child – our own two eyes. All is a miracle.

Thich Nhat Khan, Living Buddha, Living Christ

The Pisces Full Moon that we just emerged from featured a confluence of the Virgo/Capricorn earthy connection to the physical world, while the Pisces Full Moon and the square from Jupiter (expansion) to Neptune (transcendence), the traditional and modern rulers of Pisces, inspired a more ascended impulse and an opening of our spiritual centers.  Finding balance between these two polarities can be a challenge, but this writing from Thich Nhat Khan so brilliantly describes how we can bridge those polarities to emerge fully integrated into a deep experience of the joy of living in a body while simultaneously reaching for spiritual connection and transcendence. ❤️
