Miss California

Carrie Prejean’s short “career” has already been full of controversy and fodder for the tabloid news.  Carrie is a college senior who was a photo model before she won the runner-up prize in the Miss California Teen pageant in 2005.  In 2009 she won the Miss California crown, and it is widely rumored (and confirmed by pageant officials) that the Miss California pageant purchased breast implants for her competition in the Miss USA pageant in April.

Her appearance at the Miss USA pageant created a firestorm when she answered a question about same-sex marriage by saying “I do believe marriage should be between a man and a woman.”  She lost the competition and attributed her loss to her faith and beliefs.

Donald Trump, owner of the Miss California pageant, came to her defense at the time, saying that if she wasn’t so beautiful she would not have been attacked, but yesterday he fired her for breach of contract, saying she refused to attend events on behalf of the Miss California pageant and “treated everyone else like crap.”  Carrie Prejean insists that she is being targeted for her conservative religious beliefs, bt there is evidence from email transcripts of her  arrogance and lack of cooperation.

Naturally, I had to take a look at her astrological chart (born 5/13/1987, San Diego CA, time unknown).  Carrie’s Sun is in Taurus, widely known for its stubborn and inflexible nature but also a need for peace and serenity.
