Bernie Sanders: Attack on the heart
Bernie Sanders was hospitalized this week for a procedure to place stents in the heart. Originally it was said that this was a procedure to open a blocked artery, but it was later revealed that he did actually have a heart attack. He apparently has no history of heart disease.
As I wrote earlier this year in a profile of his candidacy, Sanders is undergoing some stressful planetary cycles right now. For those of you who like the astrological details:
- Transiting Uranus is exactly square to his natal Pluto which also conjoins Chiron
- Transiting Pluto is within a degree of a square to his natal Moon and will, next year, also square his Mars.
- Transiting Neptune is within a degree of an opposition to his natal Sun.
All of these outer planet cycles put a lot of pressure on the body as well as the psyche, and for someone in their late 70s, not to mention someone in the heat of a presidential campaign who has fallen to third place in the polls, this can be quite stressful.
I wish Mr. Sanders all the best in his healing journey and a smooth recovery.
